
Originally, one of the oldest temples of Singapore,Fuk Tak Chi Museum was a shrine that was built by the Hakka and Cantonese immigrants in 1884. The shrine was dedicated to the God of Wealth, Tua Peh Kong of the Shenist sect, which was visited by both Confucianists as well as Buddhists.
