Cheshire’s most iconic black and white house showing Tudor skill and craftsmanship at its finest. The magnificent timber-framed manor house has changed very little in the 500 years since it was built by the Moreton family. Building spanned the 16th and 17th centuries, each new phase reflecting changing fashions. Find out about daily life in Tudor Britain by taking a free guided tour and wander through the orchard & gardens, where edible and medicinal plants used by the Tudors are still grown.
