
The Minden Hills Cultural Centre is a 4 acre area downtown Minden that houses the Agnes Jamieson Gallery, the Minden Hills Museum, R.D. Lawrence Place and the Minden Hills Branch of the Haliburton County Public Library. The Agnes Jamieson Gallery is a public art gallery offering visual art exhibitions year-round. The gallery's collection consists primarily of artwork by Andre Lapine. Minden Hills Museum consists of five heritage buildings set to the time period of late 1800s reflecting the pioneering life. R.D. Lawrence Place holds the estate of Ron Lawrence, a well-recognized Canadian geologist, environmentalist and writer. Lawrence's life and books are displayed through changing exhibitions.
