Built in 1883 by prominent Monctonian Thomas Williams, treasurer with the Intercolonial Railway, this heritage home stands as an elegant symbol of local life during the Victorian era. Thomas Williams and his wife, Analena, purchased the property beyond town limits in 1882 and built their impressive house the following year to serve as a home for their rapidly growing family. The 12-room house is a fine example of Second Empire architectural style.
