The Ticket Office is open between 10.30 am and 3.30 pm except on running days (check the website for details) between 3rd March and 7th October 2012 when it is open from 10.30 am to 4.30 pm.

Adult admission prices vary from £5 to £10 depending on the event with reductions for children and over 60s and discounts for families (two adults and two children) at most events.

Our entrance is through Didcot Parkway Station.

The Centre is signposted from the M4 and A34 to the main station car park. The route from this car park to the station entrance is over a footbridge and 200 yd walk. At weekends there are spaces available in a car park opposite the station.

Our entrance is up a flight of 18 steps and we ask visitors with mobility difficulties to contact us in advance of your visit to discuss access needs.

Didcot Railway Centre is operated by the Great Western Society whose volunteer members restore and operate the trains and other exhibits.

Benefits of membership include free admission to most events at Didcot Railway Centre, the opportunity to volunteer and the quarterly Great Western Echo magazine with articles on Society activities and the GWR. Local Groups organise meetings and events in the Bristol, North West (Warrington), Oxford, South West (Torbay), Swindon and Taunton areas.
