Torre Abbey is an Historic House, Art Gallery and Museum. Following a 4 million pound refurbishment Torre Abbey reopened in July 2013. Built in 1196 and home to the Premonstratensian Canons, it was 'dissolved' during the Reformation. We now have one of the finest art collections in Devon and we display historic artefacts. There are beautiful gardens, including a palm house a shop and a cafe.
