Ostrich

The ostrich is the largest living bird and it is unable to fly. The feathers are soft and fluffy.

The male ostrich has black plumage with long white outer feathers. The females have grey plummage and juveniles (young) are brown and much more camouflaged.

Males defend their territory by patrolling, displaying, chasing intruders and making booming sounds.
