Indian ornamental tarantula

Tarantulas don't make traditional webs but use their silk to wrap up prey after it has been killed.

Each leg of a tarantula has 7 segments and can be controlled by as many as 30 muscles.

These spiders live in the monsoon forest of India. They are very dangerous and highly venomous. They are good climbers and fast, aggressive predators.
