African Hunting Dog
African Hunting Dogs hunt in highly organised packs of five to twenty dogs, working as a team to seize prey such as gazelle and antelope. They communicate with each other using high pitched squeaks and vocalisations that sound a bit like a shoe on a gym floor.African Hunting Dogs have large ears help them communicate. Sometimes, they even use their ears to point or signal to their pack. This effective teamwork means African Hunting Dogs are effective almost 80 per cent of the time. ThatÂs TWICE as good as most lion prides.
