The Auld Kirk is one of the oldest buildings still standing in Kirkintilloch. It was built in 1644 (a datestone may be seen in the south gable) as St Mary’s Church. The Auld Kirk is now an award winning museum, rated a 4 star attraction by Visit Scotland.
