This fantastic exhibition celebrates the publication of A First Book of Nature, written by Nicola Davies, illustrated by Mark Hearld and published by Walker Books. Come along to the Foyles Gallery to see paper-cut pigeons flying through the sky, collaged fish swimming in a rock pool and an exquisite array of original artwork from the book. Mark Hearld brings nature’s changing seasons and its rich cast of creatures to life – spring hares mid-leap, the buzz of insects in summer, worms by moonlight, starlings in flight and a fox padding through a winter snow-covered garden – in this delightful exhibition.
