
The Stony Plain and Parkland Pioneer Museum opened in 1992, to celebrate the history and pioneering spirit of Stony Plain and Parkland County. It is a not for profit charitable society run by a board of volunteers. Located on 9 acres right in Stony Plain, it consists of 17 buildings, both historical and display and over 6000 artifacts. The museum objects range from small household items to large farming machinery.
