The Bras d'Or Lakes & Watershed Interpretive Centre is situated on the main street in the village of Baddeck in the heart of Cape Breton Island. The Interpretive Centre is located in a historic three-story stone building which was once the town's Post Office and Library (c 1885), just up the road from the Baddeck Harbour and the Alexander Graham Bell Museum. Even a short visit to the Centre will help you to appreciate the beautiful Bras d'Or Lakes and the unique ecology of its watershed. Helpful guides will lead you through our unique exhibition. Six interactive modules present the ecology of the Lakes "through the eyes of an eagle."
