More from this place

We are an Historic House, Art Gallery and Museum.
Built in 1196 and home to the Premonstratensian Canons, it was 'dissolved' during the Reformation. We now have one of the finest art collections in Devon and we display historic artefacts. We are a leading exponent of contemporary art in the region. There are beautiful gardens, including a palm house a shop and a cafe.
