Every day new learning objects are being created by hundreds of cultural venues - museums, art galleries, historic houses, zoos, botanic gardens, religious spaces, open spaces and more. All objects contain an image and a vidid description and many have audio commentaries. All schools have free access to this content on the website.

On the OOKL website, pupils can:
- undertake research at any of the participating venues.
- upload content from most input devices (mobile phones and digital cameras).
- store multimedia content and create digital stories that can be exported to powerpoint.
- access their created content on any computer with the internet (at school or at home).

Are you close to a local cultural venue and have an interest in their collection. Here's a great idea for project that benefits your students and the venue. You can use the OOKL platform to help the venue digitise their collection. It's a great activity for students because they learn about the collection and how to describe objects.
