Story telling brings together key works from Vasco Araújo's practice with newly commissioned work as part of the Fishmarket at... season of offsite projects. The artist is based in Lisbon and has been visiting Northampton throughout 2012 to work with the shoe collections and social archives held by Northampton Museum to inform his new works. Temporality, community and memory thread through his work that spans media, from drawing to film, sculpture, text and installation.

*Vasco's work will be exhibited at Northampton Museum and Art Gallery, Abington Park Museum and Picturedrome. The project is curated by the Fishmarket in partnership with Northampton Museum & Art Gallery, supported by Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
